It can be easy to complete the WH347. As tackled in the previous blogs, the WH347, or payroll form is utilized by contractors to provide verified weekly payrolls for projects covered by the Davis-Bacon and related Acts. Completion of the said form is rather voluntary and optional. Contractors are allowed to use their own payroll because it complies with the WH-347 Payroll Form and includes all required information.
There are two reports that are quite helpful in filling out the form; one would be the Time Cards and Paycheck Stubs. Time cards record and track an employee’s time spent on the site while Paycheck stubs or a pay slip let an employee outline their wage, gross earnings before taxes, deductions, and employee contributions.
Aside from the standard information needed to be filled up in the form like the worker’s name, payroll period, prime contractor or subcontractor, name, and location of the project, the two reports mentioned above will both provide information on the project's per-hour, per-day, and per-person costs.
